This question is
making every fan curious to death and even after reading the manga again and
again the mystery remains unsolved. What exactly could have happened?
“shit he got us”,”After
we worked so much to get it”
These were the words
coming out of the mouth of the ninjas’s from mist when Kakashi killed Rin. Reading
the chapter again and again there are 2 possible theories for this grave incident:
1. Kakashi killed Rin to protect the village: They both were carrying some hard intel about their own village and Kakashi would’ve realized to protect the intel he
would have to sacrifice his and Rin’s life. After taking her life he must was going to take his.
2. Rin was a
spy: In page 11 of ch.
605 you would notice the mist ninja’s saying “retireive her body. The enemy
mustn’t get it” This line indicates that Rin would’ve been a spy and after
spending so much time with the 4th she could’ve important
information regarding the village. That was a war time and spying were a common practice.
