WWE Hall of Fame was officially forged on 1st February 1993,5 days after the death of wrestling legend Andre the Giant.
He was the first ever inductee in the WWE Hall Of Fame. There was no induction ceremony. An episode of Monday Night Raw television program payed tribute to him through a video package and announced his induction.
