With new talents surging in and a series of releases from WWE including Teddy Long it was evident he would be out soon!
Josh Lomberger better known as Josh Mathews has been released from WWE after serving for a lengthy period of around 12 years. Mathews has been in WWE in one form or another since 2001, when he appeared as a contestant on Tough Enough.
He never had a charm like Jerry and the crowd never really chanted his name like they do for JBL but still he played a crucial role into the commentating business. He has interviewed numerous superstars,commentated on live shows and PPV,suffered from the likes of Kane and Brock Lesnar and has contributed to WWE in so many ways. We really enjoyed his Afterburn hosting. He surely will be missed.
Considering the recent firing trend of WWE it seems they would soon release few more superstars perhaps Zack Ryder.
